I'll bet it's just a coincidental growth spurt. Keep doing what you're doing and see if he evens out his eating on his own.

Sounds like a growth spurt to me. I would keep going with the solids if everything else is ok. Also, when I started solids, we nursed both before and after solids, just to be sure he was stull...
